# List the measurements a pipeline ran against

> What each element read, and over what window.

A measurement can be extended or superseded after a run, so the window is
what says which data a result was computed from. Each entry carries the
measurement's current span alongside, so a caller can tell at a glance
when it has outgrown the window the run used.

Empty means the pipeline read no stored measurement: new pipelines record
what they read at create, and the backfill covers every older one.

The window is what makes this a record rather than a pointer: a
        measurement

can be extended or superseded after the run, so the id alone no longer
        says

what the result was computed from. ``current_duration_s`` is the

measurement's span *now*, so a client can see when it has outgrown the

        window without a second request.
